At Grace City, we love to serve the community and take every opportunity we can to do so. We love connecting with people and helping them come to know Jesus! If you are someone who loves the community, we have multiple ways you can serve!

Jesus Burger

Our congregation joins Jesus Burger Ministry (a street ministry) on the first Saturday of every month to serve our local community. There are many ways to help including the following: serving food, leading worship, teaching, helping in clothing department, ministry, and prayer. This is a powerful ministry in Longview and continues to grow.

If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Amy Stevenson by emailing her at amystevenson@gracecitypeople.com

Fresh Start is a mobile shower unit ministry serving in various locations.  We consistently operate on the first Saturday every month to offer the homeless and working poor of our community to take a shower at Jesus Burger in Longview.

If you know a ministry in need or would like to be a part of our team, please contact Eric Cummings at eric.l.cummings@gmail.com.

Grace City women have served at House of Hope (a local women’s shelter) for years.  The shelter was closed to volunteers due to the pandemic. It has now reopened, and we are resuming our once-a-month commitment with them, which involves serving dinner every second Tuesday of the month. Our team meets there at 3:30 pm and prepares the meal, serves it at 5pm and are usually done by 5:30pm.

If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Beth Bolding by emailing her at bethbolding@gmail.com

Grace Case

Grace Case helps provide a foster child a duffel bag with personal essentials. No child should have a trash bag as a suitcase.  Longview team is the only active team after the pandemic and there is a great need due to the pandemic for these children to have essentials.

If you are interested in volunteering or becoming a team member please contact Cindy Gatlin at cjpget2@aol.com.
