PURPOSE STATEMENT
“Grace City exists to bring glory to God and exalt the name of Jesus through
gospel-centered worship, discipleship, community, and mission.”

ABOUT STATEMENT
What does our culture look like? We seek to befriend and serve all people. Our worship is passionate because His grace is beyond anything we can imagine. Our rhythm is to gather to worship and scatter to serve. And in a world where the weight is often heavy; we want to lift people by adding value to their lives, stand for justice, and celebrate the goodness of our God in the best and worst of times.

2020 VISION

Charting our course’ is how we seek to be a
community of faith that glorifies God.
WE BELIEVE
The Bible
WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, without error in their original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority in the faith of the believer and to all of life.
The Trinity
WE BELIEVE that there is one God, Creator and Lord of the universe; with perfection to no end and existing in eternity in three persons; Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died our death on the Cross, rose in the body from the dead and ascended to heaven. We believe He is fully God and fully man, and as such, the only one that can bridge the gap between God and man.
Man
WE BELIEVE that man is created in the likeness of God; that he sinned and thereby received physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; that all human beings have a lean towards sin, are morally responsible for their own actions, and cannot save themselves from themselves.
The Crucifixion
WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ suffered and died in our place, for our sins; that His blood poured out provides the only grounds for our right standing with God, and that faith and turning from sin are the necessary conditions to receive salvation; that we are saved from sin’s consequence and power only on the basis of God’s grace and the strength of that grace. We further believe that good works flow from our salvation, since we are His workmanship, created for good works, but these works do not replace His grace for our salvation.
The Holy Spirit
WE BELIEVE that the ministry of the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ, convicts the world of sin, and makes believers truly alive. He further indwells, guides, and empowers the believer for a life of Godliness and service. He alone distributes gifts for the building up of the whole family of faith while individually producing spiritual fruit in those who follow His leading and not eh desires of their own nature.
Eternity
WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of those that love Jesus and obey His Word will have everlasting life in God’s presence; but the unbelieving and unjust will receive everlasting conscious punishment.
Believers
WE BELIEVE that all who have right standing with God in Christ Jesus are called to a life of turning from selfish desires, confessing failures, and separation from what the Bible defines as worldly lust and sinful practices; that the fear of the Lord (respecting His instruction) is not only the beginning of wisdom, but the spiritual element that leads to a life of purity and holiness.
The Body
WE BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church; that every local church has the right under Jesus to govern its own affairs but that He holds the church accountable to His Word; that He will personally and visibly return for His Church, create a new heaven and a new earth, and establish His glorious kingdom in its fullness forever more.
The Great Commandment
